June sidequests
- Went to a korean spa with my friends. The spa had various sauna rooms with different temperatures. This was very relaxing and I highly recommend having a face mask in a slighter warmer room, my skin was glowing after!
-Volunteered at Helping Hand, an organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to many countries. I was in charge of packing boxes with clothes that would be shipped out. Definitely felt good to contribute to a good cause.
-Morning plates at the beach. It was nice to work out near a beautiful view with girls from around the Chicagoland area.
-fancy dinner with my best friends and pictures by the riverwalk. This salmon salad was the best thing I have ever tried in my entire life. I will always think about it.

-Week-long dermatology conference, really educational and furthered my interest in medicine, and made it seem like the pathway to medicine is doable for me.
-visited a fabric outlet store, such a large store with 3 floors and fabric for days. I bought a gingham print, and I plan on making a long skirt.
- a lot of matcha runs and studying
What I created this month
I used Procreate to make this art piece, and I wanted to just create something soft and kind of nostalgic. I really enjoy drawing a cup of coffee, so I’m looking forward to making more art pieces surrounding drinks. I think they are just so pretty and satisfying to draw.
June Reflection
Learned so much about myself this month, especially with my career, and while it seems viable, I’m still unsure of myself and how everything will play out considering this administration. A lot of politics this month, and it seems very overwhelming and scary. I will try to be more positive and not get wrapped up in a loop this upcoming month. I’m glad I have friends and family that I can surround myself with, and they make everything that much more worth it. Genuinely don’t know where I would be without them in my life. I think this month was really good with trying to push myself to get out and do more things that I don’t normally do. I feel like since I’m unemployed and finished college, I don’t have much to look forward to, and I keep falling into bed, rotting. It's a bit hard to actually get up and do something, so I’m proud of what I’ve done this month.
